Brendan Fitzgerald
Trained as a classical pianist from eight years age, Brendan holds a Bachelor of Music in piano performance. Playing also accordion and guitar, Brendan’s musical influences include jazz, Latin, blues, electronic and world music.
Brendan has composed and directed music for ensembles including Tryst, Hot Cargo and The Groove Merchants. He has collaborated with vocalists, Catherine Lambert, Natasha Leicester, Kerry Reid and Virginia Hyam, creating original songs and performed with artists including Charmaine Jones, Hillary O’Neil, Alain Valodze, Themis Fernandez and Eduardo Niebla. eMotion Music is an Australian production house for creative music initiatives. The company is currently completing renovations to convert a 97-year old former church at Spalding, 38 km north of Clare, South Australia, as an art gallery and music/theatre venue.
Engaging diverse talent, eMotion Music ignites entertainment and performance projects for all occasions and media. Our concerts, recitals, music-theatre and cabaret productions tour throughout Australia, Europe and the Asia Pacific. In addition to live shows, eMotion Music customises original music scores and recordings for commercial use in film, video, radio and the web.
eMotionMusic specialises in productions which combine narrative and contemporary visual technologies to support high level music performances across a range of styles. Conventional concert presentations are reinvented via a multi-layered process, delivering a scintillating musical experience for the audience.
Formed by Brendan Fitzgerald, eMotionMusic combines the creative energies of several South Australian artists and musicians. Music composition and arrangement, creative VJ technology applications and audio recording are included in a suite of services offered by eMotionMusic.
