Due to unforeseen circumstances, I’ve regretably decided to withdraw further performances of TAKE FIVE and SWING productions. We will focus now on MOJITO! for 2018, so watch out for updates regarding the return of that show in early 2018. This includes dates in Sydney in early March and a possible remount for the Adelaide Fringe Festival in late February. Many thanks to all who have performed in TAKE FIVE and SWING since 2012 and to our audience members who have come to see these two productions these past few years. It means a lot to have had your positive input and feedback. Please continue to support live music and theatre.
Our five-star reviewed show from the 2016 Adelaide Fringe will return for one date only in Willunga, South Australia on Saturday 24th June. The two-hour show covers the major personalities, music and events of the seminal swing era from 1930’s to the end of WWII. Featuring a four piece horn section, piano, bass and drums plus vibrant singers, Gabrielle Ballard and Ben Gatehouse, actor/narrator, Steve Gration and dancer/choreographer, Diana Scalzi, “SWING” takes you on a fast moving journey through some of the greatest jazz dance music of all time.
8pm at Willunga Festival Hall. Tickets $45 and $40 concession.
Hope to bring it back next year for a slightly bigger show and more extended season. Congratulations to all the performers and crew. BF
